Graffiti demand boycott of Israeli products
Moviment Graffitti this afternoon held a symbolic protest with the aim raising awareness on Israeli occupation and oppression in Palestine.
Activists held slogans and distributed flyers urging people to boycott Israeli shops and products that profit and sustain the Palestinian occupation, as many products originate from illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
While Palestinians are not allowed to go to the sea, or are charged a fee to reach it thousands of illegal Israeli settlement, supported by the Israeli army and government surround the Dead Sea and harvest its resources.
In the West Bank around 200 illegal Israeli settlements and thousands of Israeli soldiers have created a system of settlers-only roads and areas on Palestinian land and set up around 700 checkpoints were Palestinians face daily restrictions and humiliations.
