GWU deplores Government's disregard of sectorial agreements
The General Workers Union (GWU) has deplored the Government's disregard of sectorial agreements with a diverse number of workers.
The Union emphasised that it should have been involved in discussions as it not only represents the workers, but also because it had signed the original agreements. The GWU stated that this is not the first time that the Union has been left out or ignored by Government.
The GWU made clear that it is not ready to sign any agreement with the Government before having the opportunity to discuss the situation with the workers it represents. The GWU concluded that it is being discriminated against.
