Hollande "Syria arms embargo needs to be lifted"
French President Francois Hollande said that in order to help anti-government rebels, the EU arms embargo on Syria needs to be lifted.
He stated that "We are ready to support the rebels, so we are ready to go that far."
Hollande added that France and the UK have agreed on this decision, however other countries need to be convinced.
He was speaking while in Brussels where he is later expected to participate in an EU leaders meeting.
