Iran willing to speak with USA
Iran has indicated its willingness for ‘open talks’ with the United States over its nuclear programme, as long as Washington has fair and real intentions.
Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi gave this comment on Sunday, after US Vice President Joe Biden made the same offer to Tehran On February 2, where he said; “We would be prepared to meet bilaterally with the Iranian leadership ... That offer stands, but it must be real."
Iran is believed by foreign powers to be working towards the development of a nuclear weapon, a charge the Islamic nation has denied several times. Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak argued that Israel is "determined to prevent Iran from turning nuclear and all our allies agreed that ‘no option should be removed from the table’."
