Minister for Health, The Elderly and Community Care Joe Cassar spoke at an event organized by the National Student Travel Foundation.

The session’s title was ‘Healthy Body, Healthy Mind’, saw the Minister explain that; “A number of factors affect a person’s health including housing, employment, infrastructure, climate and social activities”.

The UK government embarked on a strategy which directed the contribution of the health and social care sector but also the housing, the environment and the employment sector within government, understanding that there is a correlation between all of them. “We, here as the government of Malta, have followed on the same path,” the Minister added.
