Dale Cregan had placed a hand grenade in a man's mouth whilst he held him captive. He was on the run from police and had also killed two female officers in the UK.

Jermaine Ward, 24, claims Mr Cregan together with Anthony Wilkinson, 33, also threatened to shoot him and his family whilst he was being kept as a virtual slave for two weeks whilst they were running from the police.

Mr Cregan, 29, was on the run after having allegedly killed two men last year during a family feud. He held that he was only a getaway driver and didn't have anything to do with murdering these two men.
