The Police have arrested a man in connection with the murders which occurred last Wednesday. 

The man, who is known well to the Police, had recently found a bomb under his Toyota pick up after being alerted by a neighbour. 

Two men were murdered on Wednesday morning. A total of 12 shots were fired in the direction of Joseph Cutajar, know as il-Lion, who was brutally murdered in Mosta.

Meanwhile, Josef Grech, 41, from Balzan who was found dead at Bahar ic-Caghaq was executed with a single gun shot to the head from a small calibre weapon after being beating up.
