Omani students are can now benefit from scholarships from the Omani Ministry of Higher Education and enroll for studies at the University of Malta after a Memorandum of Understanding on Collaboration in Higher Education was signed between the University of Malta and the Minister of Higher Education of the Sultanate of Oman

The Rector of the University of Malta Juanito Camilleri and the Minister of Higher Education of the Sultanate of Oman Rawya Saud Albusaidi, recently concluded arrangements  guaranteeing the development of joint collaboration projects and activities aimed at academic exchange and joint research. 

The Rector also attended a number of meetings at Sultan Qaboos University, the University of Nizwa, the College of Applied Sciences in Nizwa and the Research Council during which various proposals were discussed.
