A Public Private Partnership agreement was signed between the Naxxar Local Council and the Home for the Elderly, Dar Sagra Familja in Naxxar.

With this agreement, for the next 10 years the locality’s elderly people who do not reside in this Home will still be able to access the gardens under the surveilance of the nurses and carers of the Home.

Mayor Maria Deguara and Executive Secretary Paul Gatt signed the agreement which will also include the investment of €33,000 to embellish the gardens and make them more accessible.

Parliamentary Assistant Beppe Fenech Adami presented the sum of €23,000 from the government for the project.
