Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi this morning inaugurated the St Ignatius College Girls’ Secondary School at Tal-Handaq.

Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi this morning inaugurated the St Ignatius College Girls’ Secondary School at Tal-Handaq.

The school, which is adjacent to the all boys’ secondary school, allows both male and female students to make use of joint facilities.

Speaking during the inauguration, Dr Gonzi said that the Government has honoured its promise to build a new school each year. The PN Leader promised that a PN Government will build upon this promise.

Dr Gonzi mentioned that the Government is investing in technology, which has seen numerous interactive whiteboards in schools across Malta.

Minister of Education and Employment Dolores Christina and parliamentary Secretary for Youth and Sport Clyde Puli were also present for the inauguration
