PL - Gozo will no longer be considered a burden
A new Labour goverment would be promoting a policy centred on Gozo, Labour leader Joseph Muscat said today.
Speaking at the end of the PL Congress session in Sannat, Dr Muscat promised that a new PL government would create more jobs in Gozo.
"My dream is to make Gozo the economic motor of our country. Nobody will keep thinking of Gozo as a burden, but as a generator of wealth."
Dr Muscat spoke about making Gozo more accessible to investors and focusing on sustainable tourism.
He also said that a new PL government would cut down on bureaucracy and 'let the people work.'
"I am convinced that we can cut down on the red tape, increase jobs and bring more employment in Gozo for the Gozitans," Dr Muscat concluded.
