The Nationalist Party hit back at Labour leader Joseph Muscat who described the government as clinging to the seat of power at all costs, saying that Dr Muscat’s only priority is becoming Malta’s youngest Prime Minister.

“All Muscat wants to do is become Malta’s youngest Prime Minister. He hasn’t told the people what his party’s policy on jobs, health, education or anything else is.”

“He wants your vote but he won’t tell you what his policies are. He just has an immense thirst for power and his only interest is becoming Malta’s youngest Prime Minister.”

The PN statement said that Dr Muscat had spent the last four years endeavouring to obstruct the Government in its work. His desperation to go to the election polls meant that in less than four years, he had predicted and sought to bring about early elections over forty times.

He had also continued to downplay the accomplishments of the Maltese during these four and a half years with the creation of 20,000 new jobs, a record in tourism, 20,000 students graduated from MCAST and the University and the fifth lowest rate of unemployment from all EU countries.

“While our family's priorities are jobs, health, education, a better quality of life and more money in the pocket, the priority of the Labour Party, more specifically, Muscat, is his own power.”

And the PN is so desperate , and will go to all lenghts not to let go THE SEAT OF POWER, where the goings on will be exposed, desperate to have their last fling to distribute free-bies and to silence by paying off- St. Philip a case in point! They had it so good and are having it so good -AT OUR EXPENSE, FROM OUR TAXES! The country just cannot afford to have the PN in government another day , let alone another five years! They just don't have their act together and as for leadership just look at both Leaders how they run their Party and if Leadership and Team-Spirit prevails! MiinN QIEGHED JITHAQ B'MIN? MIN jiprova jithaq b'Min? Min dahaq b'min iwieghed qabel l'ahhar elezzjoni, li wara ma jwettghaqx? Min wieghed SURPLUS sat 2010 u spicca jghatina deficits???
And the PN is just desperate to hang on! They have made the Country, its. remaining assets and its finances THEIRS ! Instead of beig there for ther country , the country is there for them and the Party's sustainers - St. Philip's Hospital Lease/ Purchase, a shining example!
