“While I still consider him to be the Prime Minister of Malta, I no longer form part of his parliamentary group and do not consider the PN parliamentary whip as having any form of authority with regard to my actions in the coming months” stated MP Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando in a letter addressed to the Speaker of the House of Parliament.

Dr Pullicino Orlando presented his letter during a meeting held this morning during which he explained his position in Parliament to the Speaker of the House.

The MP clarified how now that he resigned from the Nationalist Party he consider himself in coalition with the Government and will continue to support same government unless he declares otherwise in view of specific motions and legislations.
