SmartCity awards top IT students

SmartCity Malta has awarded the three top-performing students who read for the Computer Service Technician (A+ certification) course at the Computer Training Learning Centre in Kalkara.

The Mayor of Kalkara, Michael Cohen, Councillor, Roderick Mizzi and Executive Secretary, Sharon Galea Iriele recently visited SmartCity Malta together with the three students, Lydon Buhagiar, Aaron Mallia and Noel Aquilina where they were awarded a certificate by SmartCity Malta Country Director, Suleiman Al Riyami for their achievement. Through this award the students can enrol for a Cisco CCNA or a CompTIA Network+ course in order to achieve a higher qualification.

SmartCity Malta Country Director, Suleiman Al Riyami  said that Smart City is committed to supporting the Kalkara Local Council’s initiative to promote ICT within the Maltese community.

Kalkara Mayor, Michael Cohen said that the collaboration with Smart city will not only benefit the students but also for the locality locality.

The students expressed their gratitude for being presented with this opportunity holding that they are exited about further their education in ICT.
