The initial interest rates for the Floating Rate Malta Government Stock 2017 (V) linked to the six-month Euribor for the period from September 5 of this year to March 4, 2013, is 1.433% per annum. 

Meanwhile the initial interest rates for Floating Rate Malta Government Stock 2018 (IV) linked to the six-month Euribor for the same period is 1.633% per annum. 

This has been announced by the Government Treasury which held that these initial interest rates are based on the six-month Euribor as determined at 0.533% plus a spread of 90 and 110 basis points respectively.
