Tunisian uses knife to threaten wife and children
A Tunisian man, aged 59, resident in Qormi was accused of threatening his wife and their children, who are Maltese.
Farhat Bouchhioua is being accused that on August 25, 2013 at around 20.30h he threatened the life of his wife, Rosianne, with a knife. He was also accused that on the night between September 2 and 3, threatened his wife and his children and that on September 2, 2013 he caused slight injuries on his wife.
Bouchhioua was accused of possession of a pointed object with a Police license, of disturbing public peace and of relapsing. He pleaded not guilty and was given bail on a personal guarantee of €10,000.
