ITTF.com, the website of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has been ranked the 3rd most popular site of  the Summer Olympic International Federations websites, based on statistics published on Alexa.com.

ITTF's online streaming platform itTV (ITTF.com/itTV) also improved its audience during 2012 attracting over a total audience of 38,379,121. Furthermore, the Federation ranked the fourth highest amount of likes on Facebook from the summer Olympic sports and increased its popularity on Twitter and YouTube.

ITTF President Adham Sharara held that these statistics reflect the increasing popularity of table tennis. He confirmed that table tennis is now the second highest participated sport in the world, stating that it is very satisfying to turn these numbers into hits on ITTF.com.

It held that will also begin to stream selected events live on YouTube. ITTF concluded that it looks forward to establish its strong digital presence in 2013 and confirmed that ITTF.com will be revamped and developments on itTV, Facebook and Twitter will continue.
