Following the results from the first day which saw SK Victoria Wanderers edge Pembroke Athleta with 3-2 victory and Mellieha SC beating Sannat Lions 1-0, the second round of the Mellieha Challenge Cup will be played this Friday at the Mellieha ground.

The Gozitan sides Sannat Lions and SK Victoria Wanderers will play each other in the first match at 18.00 h, whilst hosts Mellieha SC will play Pembroke Athleta at 20.00 hrs.

The tournament is organised with the collaboration of the Local Council  and played in a league format with the last round of matches to be played on Tuesday, August 21.
