MFA divides funds to Youth nurseries
The Malta Football Association has urged all those involved in the Grass Roots programme to keep on instilling good values and principles into the minds and hearts of children, whilst dividing funds from Champions League to the Maltese football nurseries at Centenary Hall, Ta' Qali.
President of the Youth FA Hilary Tagliaferro explained that football teams with nurseries should not base their success on the amount of trophies they have, but rather on the how they educate the children.
President of the Malta Football Association Norman Darmanin Demajo spoke about the passion of teaching kids the game of football. He added that the majority of people who train the children are volunteers and thanked them for their dedication. He expressed his satisfaction at the work that has been done with regards to encouraging children to play football.
Marketing Manager of Luiquigas Malta Ltd Noel Debattista, unveiled a new sponsorship scheme with the Youth FA, in order to supply medical oxygen tanks in all football grounds, which will be used in football league games.
