MotoGP riders take on rally driving
MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo will drive a Citroen DS3 WRC car this weekend at the Monza Rally Show, the same car driven by rally world champion Sebastien Loeb.
Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi’s penchant for motorsport is well known, with Rossi having already contested in last year’s event. The Italian will drive a Ford Fiesta RS WRC as he faces off against his rival in the Citroën.
MotoGP rider Andrea Dovizioso will be taking part in a Citroën DS3, while Simone Corsi, Claudio Corti, Alex de Angelis and Loris Capirossi will drive two separate Peugeot S2000.
The event, which takes place on the Monza circuit, with a specially set up track, will also include four times winner of Le Mans-like rallies Dindo Capello
