Sliema Stompers continued to extend their series of wins in the MRFU CISK League as they emerged today again unbeaten against Kavallieri with the final score of 25-0. Despite having put up a good fight, especially in defence, Kavallieri were unable to score any tries against Sliema Stompers who dominated throughout the game.

The first try for Stompers came early thanks to Mario Fountain’s efforts. He appeared to be denied at the try line, but following clarification from his touch judge, the referee awarded the try. Malcolm Attard returned to the pitch after a lengthy absence due to a hamstring injury to improve the score to 8-0 after scoring from a penalty kick. Matt Camilleri scored the third try of the day and Attard again improved the score to 15-0 by making the conversion.

Forward Gigi Zammit crashed into the opposition and pushed to score yet another try for Stompers. The day for Stompers ended on a high note as Matthew Mirabelli scored the last try of the game to make it a 25-0 win.
