Intercomp launches new Facebook game
Intercomp, the authorised local distributor for Dell, Nokia, Huawei and Lexmark, launched a new competition on its Facebook page to win a brand new Huawei Honour smartphone. Developed by ICON, the application offers the ideal platform for Facebook users to test their skills and aim.
The new app, which is easy to use, sees players test their aim by throwing darts at targets. The closer the player gets to a bull’s-eye, the more points he/she accumulates. The top 10 scores will be available to the public for everyone to see online. The player with the highest score will walk away with a Huawei Honour smartphone.
Since the introduction of the game, traffic has increased twofold while engagement and interaction on Intercomp’s Facebook page has been also been on the rise. The app has generated new queries about products, in particular the new Huawei brand which was introduced in Malta in July.
“Our Facebook fans love to compete against each other to see if they manage to get the highest score and win the new Huawei smartphone,” said Chris Briffa, Managing Director for Intercomp Malta.
Intercomp said that it chose Facebook as a social channel due to its ability to reach a vast amount of individuals in the least possible time.
