InterContinental bloggers share new recipes
InterContinental Hotels’ new Kitchen Cookbook iPad app will be taking inspiration from the crème de la crème of the food and beverage world. The hotel and resort chain is issuing a “Kitchen Passport” to a hand-picked selection of influential bloggers who will work hand-in-hand with the brand’s top chefs and mixologists to design new recipes for the app.
The new Kitchen Passport programme will be hosted at three InterContinental Hotels in the US, one in Atlanta, one in San Francisco and one in Miami. The app, in turn, will offer users access to hot new recipes inspired by some of the hospitality industry’s worldly executive chefs from.
Jean-Pierre Etcheberrigaray, Vice President of Food and Beverage of the InterContinental Hotels Group for the Americas, said: “InterContinental Hotels’ food and beverage programme features signature bars and restaurants with menus that reflect the local destination. Our new Kitchen Passport programme will allow a niche group of influencers to step behind our food and beverage curtain to experience it firsthand and become ‘in the know’ about the culinary tradition of our hotels. The innovative recipes conceptualised during their visits will not only be shared with their readers but also with other food enthusiasts through our app.”
The programme will kick off at the InterContinental Buckhead in Atlanta.
For foodies everywhere, the Kitchen Cookbook app may well be a veritable taste of five-star cuisine worth trying at home.
